Hairless, not hopeless

Nine wigs in nine minutes… (by 94gunsmoke)

Is it hypocritical to call someone judgemental?

…..LOVE THIS PART

  1. Have confidence. Any person on this planet, even supermodels, would look absolutely awful if they had no confidence! Smile, stand up straight, and be proud of who you are no matter what. If you’re confident and okay with who you are, others will pick up on that vibe.
    • Find things that you like about yourself. You’ve only lost your hair, which is only one part of your body. Look into the mirror and find other things you like about yourself. Do you like the colour of your eyes? The shape of your face? Your lips? Just because you don’t have hair doesn’t mean that you’ve lost all your other beautiful features.

Thanks for following!

I hope this can be a page where we who are either fully or partially bald (and, no, I do not consider that term a “four-letter-word”—if its being descriptive and not used in an insulting manner.  I am  bald,  its quite obvious since most of the time I go wigless.) can hang out and talk about whatever, meet others who are in the same boat…you know, just chillax, no worries

18-year Alopecian

For all alopecians, whether you’re dealing with it rather well or comparing it to going through hell….Vent or praise, hope or gripes - here, all thoughts within reason are welcome.

Description::

Losing your hair for any reason, from any cause, can be devastating, some can’t help but BE devastated. Some hide the condition, some celebrate their uniqueness, as I have learned to do. Hopefully this page can bring alopecian men and women together to ‘compare scars’, exchange wig care tips, or head shaving tricks (some with AA do that, and I understand why.) Well, “Like” if you like, and please fight alopecia’s tendency to shred self esteem and shatter self-image and steal self-confidence. Fight. Bald is beautiful especially if that’s your natural state.
